Since we didn't have the budget to do the build-in wardrobe right away, we were left with a handy little cubby for toys.
Last night, with materials on hand (surplus paint, tape, chrome knob, 2-pence piece and a mirror), we made the area into a little play house. It took about four hours from start to finish. I was surprised (I shouldn't have been) how much time was spent on prep!

And now. A little house for the girls.

In case you're wondering, the square window is a mirror.
